The merging of engineering marvels, the Internet and mobility, has given rise to the mobile Internet, an independent ecosystem that integrates service-oriented paradigms to deliver interactive mobile services to end-user devices like smartphones and tablets. This evolution has significantly increased the contribution of these devices to Internet traffic, prompting IT and telecommunications experts to envision a future of interconnected daily life objects capable of exchanging mobile Internet services—an era known as Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication or the Internet of Things (IoT). This research introduces a novel concept and prototypical implementation of a Mobile Server Platform (MSP) designed to address gaps in the M2M domain. The MSP features strategically connected architectural layers, including a Mobile Web Server layer, SLA Framework layer, and Software Application layer. The Mobile Web Server layer encompasses Synchronous and Asynchronous Servers, defining execution models for mobile Web Services (WS) with access methods based on SOAP, XML/REST, and JSON/REST. It further supports M2M multimedia delivery through various network topologies. The SLA Framework layer extends mobile WS offerings through contract-based agreements, defining four SLA life cycles for mobile terminals. Performance analysis is conducted to evaluate the Service Creation Process across four categories, validating hypothetical relationships thr
