The chalky time is over! Peter Zimmermann, a prominent figure in conceptual painting, presents his first major exhibition in Freiburg. He has transformed the museum into a massive, integrated work of art, with the floor serving as a canvas and vibrant colors extending across multiple rooms. The exhibition and accompanying catalog highlight an epoxy floor piece created specifically for this event, alongside a new series of oil paintings unveiled in full for the first time. Since the mid-1980s, Zimmermann has explored painting's potential, manipulating documents like photos and diagrams with digital filters, layering them with epoxy resin to produce visually striking abstract forms.
