The book gives an insight into a choice of his pieces, actions, concepts, languages pieces, books, editions and drawings. It is richly illustrated with 128 colour photographs. On the initiative of Meike Behm, this catalogue could be published on the occasion of the exhibitions at Kunsthalle Lingen, Kunstverein Bremerhaven and Wilhelm-Hack-Museum. The book contains an essential essay by Stefan Ripplinger about Tomas Schmit’s artistic investigation of perception and an introduction by Meike Behm.
