Exploring the particle nature of dark matter, this work addresses the implications of a newly identified symmetry that emerges when dark matter particles are significantly heavier than known elementary particles. It proposes a universal interaction between dark matter and ordinary matter, aiding in the prediction of event rates in detection experiments.
