Between 2015 and 2019, I explored the streets and alleys of Old Delhi, visiting shops and tearooms. My wife urged me to capture this unique place photographically, expressing concern that it might soon vanish. Over the years, I took numerous photographs, reflecting my personal experiences in this vibrant environment. The question of whether Old Delhi will be replaced by modern developments looms large. While it's often assumed that capturing stunning images in such thrilling locales is easy, I found that many photographs lack a personal touch and originality. In a place like Old Delhi, it's challenging to find motifs that reveal deeper layers of reality beyond the familiar. My photographs convey my perspective and personality, showcasing not just the essence of Old Delhi but also my emotional connection to it. I aimed to capture the mysticism and magic within the chaos, juxtaposing the exhilarating confusion with the admirable serenity of its people. Each image serves as a testament to my journey and the intricate beauty of this remarkable city.
