Cristina Barroso's artistic work primarily explores the relationships between space/time and communication. Her poetics focus on metaphors of territory (geographies and experiences), measurement concepts (accruals and absences), proximity and distance, and the dynamics of movement or stillness, encompassing sociability and conflict.
