The thesis explores the characteristics of 122-type iron pnictide (FeSC), focusing on its crystal and electronic structure, as well as the effects of carrier doping and impurity scattering. Through various measurements, including transport and magnetization, it successfully addresses the unusual electronic properties of the material, such as superconducting gap symmetry and in-plane resistivity anisotropy. The findings provide clarity on previously controversial issues in FeSCs by comparing these properties with those in the normal phase.
