Maggiori informazioni sul libro

Clint McCowan is a Texas Ranger. He is a tall man in his mid-thirties, widowed, and always on the run trying to catch outlaws. He has a younger brother, Samuel, who is also a Texas Ranger, sometimes a nuisance and follows him loyally around on most of his outlaw debuts whether or not he was invited. His father is an elderly man who lives in the ancestral home in Avinger, Texas. He is known to all as the great rancher of the West and was once a Ranger in his younger years. No longer in action, the elder McCowan has already retired to the ranch and closely watches his two sons that follow in his footsteps, and a stubborn daughter who gets into trouble whether it be intentional or not. With the kidnapping of his son and sister, Clint was summoned by the governor and the Chief U.S. Marshall to help them break several cases that keep popping up with some blood-shedding and stagecoach robberies. The problem he faces is the overwhelming sense of duty he has and his torn emotions of his missing son, which is he to do first? He ends up doing both as it turned out to his favor.
