The work introduces a decentralized control system designed to enhance the flexibility of modular conveyor systems. It eliminates the need for centralized infrastructure, allowing individual conveyor units to operate autonomously. The modules can connect independently based on their positioning within the required layout. Each module is equipped with RFID identification, sensors, a multi-directional drive, and a microcontroller that implements the control algorithm, enabling them to function as switches, junctions, or linear conveyor sections.
