"Virág Wheeler-Mezei grew up in Tiszadob, a village in the north-east of Hungary. In 2008 she moved to the UK, where she worked in childcare and married an Englishman, James. In was in Britain that she also began to grow in her relationship with God, making Jesus Lord of her life. Soon after their fairytale-like wedding in a Hungarian castle, James and Virág moved to Bath and looked to start a family. Virág became pregnant and both were thrilled with the birth of their son Luke. He seemed a healthy baby at first, but their family life was impacted when Luke became unwell at around six months old. He was soon transferred to Bristol for radical emergency brain surgery for an aggressive brain tumour. This was just the beginning of a long journey through multiple surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy and pioneering radiotherapy. Virág found herself fighting for the well-being of her son, whilst finding her relationships with her husband and with God put under strain. Her story is one of triumph in the midst of pain."--Publisher's description.
