Die Schlacht an der Unstrut im Jahre 531 veränderte das Leben Radegundes, der Tochter des Thüringerkönigs, grundlegend: Sie fiel als Kriegsbeute an den Merowingerkönig Chlothar I., der sie später heiratete.
