Focusing on the German general aviation industry, this thesis explores the strategic approaches of non-profit organizations (NPOs) such as clubs. It investigates growth options available to these NPOs, analyzing the factors influencing their choice of strategy and the success rates of different approaches. The study outlines three main objectives: the preferred strategies of NPOs, the effects of specific growth strategies on performance, and the impact of both macro and micro environmental factors on the selected growth strategies.
