Chirikure Chirikure, born in 1962 in Gutu, Zimbabwe, is a renowned poet and performer. From a family of Christian teachers, he learned both biblical stories and Shona ancestral culture. He studied religious studies, literature, and history in Harare. His debut German publication, "Aussicht auf eigene Schatten," showcases his critical and identity-focused poetry.
