This is me. I like myself.I do things my own way . . .I am fantastic!Philip Waechter's bear is an everyman. He's confident and sometimes a little smug, he's happy, loving and has lots of friends, but occasionally he's a tiny bit stingy. Sometimes he feels on top of the world, but other times, he feels rather small and lonely. But at times like these he knows just what to do . . . he runs into the arms of the one he loves!

Jacob has a special gift—he can fly! When his parents plan a trip to the sea, Jacob says he will fly there himself. Along the way, he meets new friends and has wonderful adventures. And when his bird friends need help, Jacob and the flock work together to rescue their friend and outsmart the nefarious birdcatcher. With gorgeous illustrations and a humorous, resonant story about independence, kindness, and embracing the unknown, Jacob’s Fantastic Flight shows what happens when a child uses their strengths and differences to help others in need. Printed on FSC-certified paper with vegetable-based inks.
Raccoon finishes his book and is ready for his own adventure--he wants thrills, excitement and to conquer the sea! He borrows everything he needs from his friends: a boat from Badger, who insists on coming along because you should never go on an expedition alone. Fox packs them eggs for the omelette--then must join to be the cook. Bear insists on coming to scare away the jellyfish, and Crow says he should be lookout. The friends sail through rapids, collect sweet blackberries, chase away bees, and play soccer, until a little rain and thoughts of home bring their excursion to an end. That, thinks Raccoon, was the most thrilling magnificent adventure with friends I've ever had. Let's go again soon--and next time we'll bring the chickens. In this heartwarming follow-up to A Perfect Wonderful Day with Friends, Waechter shows how life is better when you bring along your friends and take what the day brings. "The perfect book for summer."--Frankfurter Allgemeiner
