John Chudley Libri

Set in 1730 during the mini-ice age, the story follows a Dorset lord investigating the alarming rise of Barbary pirates raiding European coastal towns for white slaves. Suspecting a traitorous nobleman is leaking information to the pirates, he assembles a diverse group to uncover the truth. Their quest leads to perilous captures but ultimately culminates in a dramatic rescue by the Royal Navy, enabling them to defeat the pirates and restore safety to the coast.
