The haiku, a traditional three-line poem, is the inspiration for this collection. As with the haiku, each triplet evokes a striking image, complete in itself, focused on an aspect of the countryside. Arranged into seasons, these triplets bring us via a series of close encounters through the circle of the ever changing year.
