Recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence within healthcare focus on enhancing human cognitive abilities through high-resolution imaging and intelligent agents that replicate diagnostic and therapeutic skills. While AI is a promising tool for developing these agents, it faces challenges in accurately modeling the complexity of human reasoning. This work analyzes cognitive structures in intelligent tutoring systems, leveraging sociocultural theories of mind to improve the interaction between cognitive agents and individuals, particularly in health-related technologies.
