Focusing on the preparation of teachers to address preconceptional maternal risk, this research highlights a critical gap in current medical training. Through theoretical and empirical methods, it identifies the need for a structured system of didactic actions designed for both students and educators. This system comprises four stages aimed at effectively identifying and guiding women at risk. Expert consultations confirm the proposal's relevance, and the findings demonstrate its potential to address significant issues in health professional education.
