The research investigates the relationship between personality traits and the risk of psychotropic substance use among students in the Psychological Sciences program. Utilizing validated instruments, the study reveals that a significant portion of students exhibit high hardness and low extraversion, with notable moderate risk levels for alcohol and tobacco consumption. Despite these findings, the analysis concludes that personality traits do not influence substance use risk. Consequently, workshops are proposed to mitigate substance consumption and enhance students' quality of life.
