The study focuses on the ecology of the rare endemic species Fritillaria oranensis Pomel in the Tessala mountains of western Algeria. It aims to identify the causes of its rarity through habitat analysis and evaluation of ecological and biological parameters. Observations reveal a population of only six individuals, highlighting the species' endangered status in the area. The research underscores the urgent need for conservation efforts to protect this unique species from extinction.

Focusing on the ecological and economic significance of Arbutus unedo L, this work emphasizes its role in biodiversity and the need for preservation. It explores the plant's therapeutic properties through the characterization of its phytochemical compounds and antioxidant activities. The study highlights the ethnobotanical and industrial potential of Arbutus, advocating for its domestication and cultivation as an industrial crop, particularly in western Algeria, to enhance its utilization and conservation.

Das Ziel unserer Arbeit ist es, die Ökologie einer seltenen und endemischen Art aus der Familie der Liliengewächse (Fritillaria oranensis Pomel) auf dem Berg von Tessala, einem Berggebiet im Westen Algeriens, zu untersuchen. Aufgrund der Seltenheit des gewählten Taxons wollten wir die Ursachen für seine Seltenheit erklären. Die Arbeit basiert auf der Beobachtung der Art und stellt einen Beitrag zur Analyse der stationären Bedingungen ihres Lebensraumes durch einen Ansatz der Auswertung der ökologischen und biologischen Parameter dar. Dann wird eine Nachbeobachtung der Population von Fritillaria oranensis Pomel gestartet. Diese Population besteht aus nur sechs Individuen, die nur an einer Station vorhanden sind. Diese Beobachtung bestätigt die Seltenheit dieser endemischen Art. Die Zukunft dieser Art ist in dem untersuchten Gebiet vom Aussterben bedroht.

Dit werk bestudeert de ecologie van de zeldzame endemische soort Fritillaria oranensis Pomel op de berg Tessala in West-Algerije. Het onderzoekt de oorzaken van zijn zeldzaamheid en analyseert de habitatvoorwaarden. Slechts zes individuen zijn waargenomen, wat de dreiging van uitsterven in het gebied bevestigt.
