Focusing on a significant yet under-researched topic, this study investigates sexual violence against men and boys perpetrated by women in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. It highlights the evolving perception of sexual violence over the past thirty years, acknowledging male victims while addressing the scarcity of research on their experiences and the dynamics of female perpetrators. This work aims to fill critical gaps in understanding and provide valuable insights into a complex issue within the context of Sud-Kivu.
