Steve Gilreath

In a decade, Dan, Evan, and Bullseye will converge in a nation on the brink of collapse. Years of unfulfilled promises by Congress have led to maximum taxation and widespread riots fueled by unemployment and despair. Newly elected President Dan Crowley, focused on saving the country rather than personal gain, gathers a team at Camp David to brainstorm solutions for the budget crisis. After three intense days, a Cabinet member suggests selling Montana, prompting laughter until Crowley writes "Sovereignty!" on the board. The idea is to seize Montana and sell it to a sovereign group lacking a homeland, like the Christian Kurds. The President quickly commissions studies on the feasibility of this radical plan. As news leaks, Bullseye Magee, a savvy Montana rancher and hunting guide with a troubled past, ignites a secession movement, rallying the Governor, militias, and wealthy ranchers. Torn between her loyalties to the Vice President and her own interests, Bullseye prioritizes her survival. Evan Morris, a former movie star with fading fame, finds himself reluctantly drawn into the secessionist cause. Their paths cross as the first Autonomous Flying Car launches and the economy spirals downward. Amidst political turmoil, attempts to pilfer resources, and the fallout from decades of overspending, the President grapples with whether selling Montana is the solution to save the remaining states.
