Ella Jones tells the story of tragedy that could have killed her while still in the womb. Mental and verbal abuse and forgiving herself. She is a woman of God that has come through obstacles, tragedies, heartaches and pains, but each time she has come back stronger. Her survival has given her ability to speak to others about making it through. She doesn’t mind using what she’s been through to help someone get through. She wants her life to be an example to other’s that they too can make it. Through God’s grace, mercy and favor, she lives as a testimony. She survived the fire in 1962 but carried the flame with her for a very long time. In life she allowed herself to be burned although the fire never touched her. Ella eventually walked through the flames into her newness.
