When Jenn moved back in with her Mom, Lucy had to adapt to a new person. Initially, Jenn was disappointed because she expected to find a puppy or a kitten when she returned home. Instead, her Mom had a bird. Soon, Jenn discovered Lucy was full of surprises! Pat watched as Jenn took Lucy under her wing treated her like a little sister. Before long, Lucy became a dear companion and a member of the family. Jenn and her Mom wanted to share their experiences and to encourage others to take a chance on less common animals, such as a parrot, as a family pet. They are very happy they took a chance on Lucy and could not imagine their lives without this little bird. This is how their story began.
