There are 66 books in the Bible. The last of these books is The Revelation of Jesus Christ, more commonly referred to as Revelation. It is a completely fascinating book. There is much to learn from the Bible about historical events, current events, and future events. Each of these is woven together seamlessly and summed up perfectly, if not before the specific events described in the pages of Revelation, then certainly during them. Revelation provides the summation to recordable world history (some of which is still yet future), as well as a glimpse into eternity. God is the I AM. “I AM” is present tense, describing His eternal state of being. God was in the past, but He is not limited to the past. He is in the present, but He is not limited to the present. He will be in the future, but He is not limited to the future. God has always been, is, and will always be. He is also triune, meaning there are three persons in the singular God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Revelation of Jesus Christ speaks to the eternal deity of God the Son and is likewise divided into three past, present, and future. We will discover this in Revelation 1. I will simply invite you to come along on this journey as we begin A Study of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
