Uno dei grandi classici della letteratura inglese, un'eroina tanto indipendente e moderna quanto tradizionalista: Emma riesce a catturare il lettore sin dall'inizio e a farsi tanto odiare quanto amare nel corso delle vicessitudini costellate di fraintendimenti di questo romanzo. Una storia d'amore forse inattesa per alcuni ma sicuramente agognata dai più, che dona il giusto lieto fine a una serie di eventi che, come tessere di un puzzle, costituiscono il finale soddisfacente e perfetto! Un'opera fitta e dal linguaggio arcaico da leggere almeno una volta nella vita!
