In the autumn of 1944, a young professor of ancient history is embarked on a freight train and, along with thousands of other prisoners, is deported to Auschwitz. Inspired by actual events, well-documented, The Last Night at Auschwitz is a captivating and terrifying historical thriller, a descent into the inferno, which masterfully depicts the blind, mutilating struggle between dehumanized, indoctrinated monsters and their defenseless victims.
