Ceedra, the main character, wakes up in a room that is strange to her. It turns out to be a hospital room where Ceedra has been for three months in a coma, but she has no memory as to why. A summer holiday that leads to a world of medallions, temples, witches, evil demons, supernatural powers and ancient drawings on the wall of a cave in a mountain. How is Ceedra involved? Is this anything to do with the reason for her being in hospital? Is this imaginary world the reason for her being in a coma? The Icon is a story of imagination, loyalty and ancient history for the reader to lose themselves in.
