The GRE Graduate Record Exam is undergoing significant changes starting August 2011, prompting Barron's to release a thoroughly revised test prep manual that aligns with the new exam format. While the Analytical Writing section remains largely the same, the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections introduce new question types. In Verbal Reasoning, test takers will encounter two new sentence completion types: sentence equivalence questions requiring two correct answers for credit, and text completion questions involving passages with up to three blanks.
