The work presents the perception of some teachers of the municipal education network, a municipality of Santa Catarina in relation to the theory of social-interactionist knowledge and objectives and principles of Environmental Education. The data obtained were the result of the analysis of interviews conducted with teachers and the analysis of teaching plans developed by teachers and applied to students of primary schools I.
