Ginger and Alice is a humorous fiction story of two gerbils owned by Billy and his Mother, Mrs. Franklin. Ginger had just come to live with the Franklins. Alice is a trouble maker, who befriends Ginger and encourages Ginger to go along with her escapades. Meanwhile Ginger tries to persuade Alice to behave. Ginger ends up helping Alice with a number of mischievous adventures and both end up in trouble with Billy and his Mother. The Franklins design fancy vests with thin chains which they attach to the coffee table to keep the gerbils from their troubling adventures. The story ends when Alice falls off a shelf into a big bowl of cake batter. Does Alice get rescued? Does she decide to behave herself in the future? Enjoy reading about Ginger and Alice as they cause all kinds of problems for the Franklins.
