First published in 1985. This volume contains papers presented at two symposia in honor and memory of the late Herman A. Witkin. One symposium, Style in Cognition and Culture, was organized by Seymour Wapner and took place at the Eastern Psychological Association Meetings in Hartford, Connecticut, April 11, 1980.
